NEWS FLASH

Passengers flying from Basel to Tuzla on a Wizz Air flight yesterday were delayed by several hours after a false bomb threat was made. Following a detailed search of the aircraft in Basel, it was concluded that there were no explosives on board and passengers were allowed to embark the aircraft."The plane landed as usual in Basel. After both the passengers and crew disembarked the aircraft, local authorities began a search of the jet following an anonymous tip off that there is a security threat", the company said in a statement. Passengers heading to Tuzla were delayed by some three hours while the search took place. Basel Airport says that following the tip off the aircraft was led to a remote stand, while all passengers on board, as well as their luggage was thoroughly searched.
