NEWS FLASH

British leisure airline Thomson Airways has announced plans to launch new flights into Croatia in 2017. The carrier will introduce services from Edinburgh to Pula, starting May 2, and from Doncaster to Dubrovnik, commencing May 4. Both will operate on a seasonal summer basis with the Pula service running until September 26 and the Dubrovnik route until October 26. The flights will be maintained once per week with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Thomson already boasts a strong presence in Croatia with a number of services to Dubrovnik, Split and Pula. The carrier operates some of its flights into Dubrovnik with its flagship Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Croatia was Thomson Airways' fastest growing market in 2015.
