Pristina Airport will see a number of charter flights in the days leading up to and following the Christmas and New Year holidays. Several carriers will operate services to diaspora hotspots, mainly Basel, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart, between December 21 and January 15. German leisure airline TUIfly will maintain flights from the above-mentioned cities and will be joined by Bulgaria's Bul Air and Romania's Crobex Trans. The flights are being chartered by several local tour operators with tickets already on sale. Pristina Airport is on course to handle a record 1.8 million passengers by year's end.
