NEWS FLASH

US-based air traffic simulation and voice technology services provider UFA has been selected to deliver an ATTower air traffic control (ATC) training solution to the Slovenia Control Training Facility at Ljubljana Airport. The ATTower ATC training solution will get integrated with the Slovenia Control automation system to allow the controllers to use the same system in their training which is used in actual operational tower setting. UFA CEO, David Wolff, said, “The delivery of ATTower integrated with Slovenia Control automation systems is yet another example of the continued interest by our clients to provide their trainees with the highest fidelity training environment. The combination of their systems with UFA’s powerful suite of simulation tools brings a unique level of training capability tailored to their needs”. Under the contract, UFA will provide a multi-channel ATView configuration to display the 3D aerodrome visual model and simulated traffic situation. The Slovenia Control automation system will provide flight data information, surveillance display and weather information to controllers. UFA will also deliver four photorealistic 3D airport visual models as part of the contract.
