NEWS FLASH

Qatar Airways is seeking new cabin crew members from Slovenia. The Doha-based airline will hold an open day in Ljubljana on Sunday, April 23 at the Grand Union Hotel (Miklošičeva cesta 1) at 09.00 CEST sharp. Those interested must personally drop off their CVs in formal business attire. Requirements include a minimum age of 21 years, arm reach of 212 cm on tip toes, high school education with fluency in written and spoken English, as well as excellent health and fitness. Further details can be found here.

With ongoing consolidation among the Middle East's Big Three carriers, Qatar Airways is the only airline still regularly hiring foreign crew, whereas Emirates and Etihad Airways have slowed down their recruitment processes. Emirates is expected to resume hiring foreign crew and holding recruitment events in the former Yugoslavia during the fourth quarter of the year.
