NEWS FLASH

Pula Airport is expected to handle some 90.000 passengers this June, representing an increase of 40% compared to last year, the "Glas Istre" reports. The impressive figure comes as no surprise, with the airport being served by a record 29 airlines this summer, many of which are newcomers. The strong growth should be maintained during the slow winter months as well with Eurowings recently announcing it would extend its seasonal service between Dusseldorf and Pula to year-round operations. The airport anticipates welcoming some 600.000 passengers by year's end, up 40% on 2016. During the first five months of 2017, the airport handled 64.133 travellers, up 32.1%.

@ admin? 40.000 Pax is a decrease, or did you mean additional 40000 Pax?
