NEWS FLASH

Egypt Air and Aegean Airlines have expanded their codeshare cooperation to include Belgrade. The Egyptian national carrier has added its flight number and designator code onto Aegean's service between the Greek and Serbian capitals. As a result, Egypt Air passengers will be able to travel with easier connections and more flexible alternatives with one ticket and one single check-in at Cairo Airport to Belgrade via Athens. “We continually work towards making product and service improvements for maximum passenger satisfaction. This new codeshare route reinforce our existing relationship with Aegean. We consider Aegean a key partner of success to enhance our footprint in Europe“, Safwat Musallam, the Chairman and CEO of Egypt Air, said. There are currently no services between Cairo and Belgrade, with Egypt Air's low cost subsidiary Air Cairo maintaining year-round flights between Hurghada and Belgrade.
