Sarajevo Airport registers strong growth

Sarajevo Airport has seen its passenger numbers grow 17.7% during June, with a total of 78.170 travellers handled. The number of aircraft operations stood at 1.182, up 19.2%. Overall, during the first half of the year, Sarajevo Airport welcomed 383.983 passengers, an increase of 7.4% on 2016. Aircraft movements grew 12.3%. Meanwhile, Sarajevo Airport put into operation two self check-in kiosks yesterday. For the time being, only passengers with hand luggage will be able to use the service flying on Adria Airways, Air Serbia, Austrian, Croatia Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa, Pegasus, Swiss and Turkish Airlines.
