NEWS FLASH
Skopje Alexander the Great Airport handled 150.935 passengers in June, representing an increase of 6% compared to the same month last year. During the first half of 2017, Macedonia's busiest airport welcomed 802.621 travellers through its doors, an improvement of 5.9% on 2016. Skopje's numbers are expected to pick up this month with Wizz Air to launch three new routes and up frequencies on existing services, while Qatar Airways will inaugurate flights from Doha.

Growth has stabilized now. There isn't much more room for expansion. Let's see what Wizz Air has in store for SKP.
ReplyDeleteSkopje Airport NEEDS more main airport DESTINATIONS like Frankfurt , (Munich-ok) , Dusseldorf , Moscow , London HEATROW , Madrid .. And also more frequent routes to Balkan Cities .. Thats my opinion , that there must be more other airlines not only WIZZ , but Wizz is doing great together with SKP. Whats your opinions?

ReplyDeleteI think the first flight will be on 17th july or 31 july , you should check Qatar Airways internet website.

DeleteSkopie will never become EU. if You are EU you can travel whole Europe with ID. Everyone have ID it is cheaper than passport and more efficient. Not talk about traveling freedom because ETIAS is coming in 2019.

Also there is NO customs between EU states. And NO roaming. So everything is connecting.
