NEWS FLASH

Norwegian Air Shuttle has upgraded its seasonal summer flights between Copenhagen and Zagreb to year-round operations. The airline will maintain one weekly flight between the two cities over the upcoming winter, each Saturday morning. The route will complement its year-round flights between Stockholm and the Croatian capital which were launched this summer. Norwegian will compete against Croatia Airlines on the Copenhagen service. The Croatian carrier will maintain daily flights between the two cities this winter, up from six weekly last year.

Norwegian has big plans for Zagreb, they'll be announcing few things later this year. Zagreb Stockholm upgrade and Zagreb - Oslo service are very much on the cards.

However, this is just the beginning of what they plan for Zagreb.

Well, that's a humble beginning one must admit.

I doubt that it has big plans but Scandinavia connections are getting better from Zagreb.

Yes. This was also known far in advance. I'm just happy things are finally moving in the positive direction and awaiting more frequencies.

btw norwegian and ryanair are feuding.

apparently norwegian has snatched 100+pilots from ryanair and the o'leary stopped negotiations about feeding norwegian long hauls, a job which was eventually awarded to easy jet.

also, it seems that norwegian has a pretty risky strategy in my opinion. huge order book and now they have their own leasing company...which they eventually may sell...crazy :)
