Pristina Airport sees strong September

Pristina Airport has registered record September growth by handling 169.986 travellers during the month, representing an increase of 15.4% on last year. The number of aircraft movements stood at 1.344, up 14.3%. During the first three quarters, the airport welcomed 1.468.692 passengers through its doors, an increase of 7.8% on 2016. Swiss regional carrier SkyWork Airlines recently said it would operate two weekly services between Basel and Pristina this winter as part of a military contract, while Eurowings announced the launch of a new service from Munich to the Kosovan airport next March.
