NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines and South Korea's Asiana Airlines have signed a reciprocal codeshare agreement. It includes Croatia Airlines placing its "OU" designator code and flight numbers onto Asiana's services from Frankfurt, London Heathrow and Paris to Seoul. In return, the Korean airline will add its codes and flights numbers onto Croatia Airlines' services from the abovementioned European hubs to Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik. Croatia Airlines' CEO, Jasmin Bajić, said, "We are delighted that as a result of this cooperation Croatia has become even more accessible to Korean tourists. This is yet another example of a global carrier recognising the quality of Croatia Airlines' services". South Korea's national carrier, Korean Air, which operates between ten to a dozen summer charters from Seoul to Zagreb each year, codeshares on ČSA Czech Airlines' seasonal flights between Prague and the Croatian capital. Its low cost subsidiary Jin Air has announced plans to launch services from Seoul to Zagreb in 2019.

By that logic, where are all the other carriers, including UA with whom OU has codeshares?

The only logic here is that it's finally happened. They're both star alliance and taking this long is questionable as well.
