Several airlines have already announced new flights to Montenegro this year including Wizz Air, Brussels Airlines, Pobeda, TUIfly, as well as Montenegro Airlines itself, while a number of carriers will boost frequencies on existing services. Last year, both Podgorica and Tivat airports registered over one million passengers each for the first time. "Based on all the announcements we have, the growth in traffic should continue, and we expect to sign agreements with new operators, which should help in improving Montenegro's connectivity", airport operator Aerodromi Crne Gore said.
