Etihad Airways is seeking a Data Scientist at its Etihad Airways Partners Shared Services centre in Belgrade. The Data Scientist position forms part of the airline's Enterprise Analytics team. Job responsibilities include designing prototypes of automated decision-support tools, building business cases, and assisting internal and external IT resources to put these prototype tools into production. Mainly, this is a hands-on technical role where the individual will be required to explore data, conduct preliminary analysis, assess the potential commercial value, and build prototype solutions using advanced analytics techniques that can ultimately be put into production. Requirements include a university degree in mathematics/statistics, science, engineering, or psychology, while a post-graduate qualification is an advantage. At least two years of experience directly working with large and complex datasets is required. Further details and the application form can be found here.
