Banja Luka Airport returns to growth

NEWS FLASH

Banja Luka Airport has seen its passenger numbers grow in June, ending its eight consecutive months of declining figures. The airport welcomed 2.294 passengers last month, which is up 13.4%. It also represents the airport's best June performance in over a decade. The passenger increase came as a result of Air Serbia's newly launched one weekly charter service to Antalya, which will run until September 11 and has so far recorded stellar loads. During the first half of 2018, Banja Luka Airport handled 8.835 travellers, down 7.9% on the same period last year. The airport is gearing up to welcome Europe's largest low cost carrier Ryanair, which will commence flights from Charleroi, Memmingen and Stockholm Skavsta to Banja Luka from October 29.

Yeah right! Probably only INI and VIE would have been competitors to Banja Luka in this part of the world.

      In just concerned about ZAG.
BNX will definitely benefit from the new FR flights.

  6. I hope that we will see more flights from Banja Luka... Hopefully it will be Malmo Sweden or Bilund Denmark.
