June growth was only 2%? Ouch. Didn't they add more flights this year?!

Almost 200 flights were cancelled because of a lack of staff.

flights in June are generally very full already, leaving almost no space for growth, without adding more flights, which they didn`t. That is also the reason why growth in the first 3 months was over 10 % leaving it at 5% altogether after June. In absolute numbers the months to come are the drivers and there is almost no room for more pax on existing flights.

If airlines continues to grow pax at 5% for the remaining part of this year, we could see 2.25 million pax carried by the carrier. most in history. The fact the load factor is also 71% for first 6 months is also nice indication the carrier is doing well in terms of load factor and capacity.

If carrier caries more than 7% this year, or additional 150 000 pax, carrier might have decent profit this year, ideally more than 7-10 million kuna.

In 2020, carrier should be capable handling 2.55 million pax, or 85% load factor, which should allow for greater margin of profit and success for the carrier. By 2020, Carrier will most likely handle around 1.75 million pax out of Zagreb, or around 40% of projected traffic at Zagreb in 2020.

In 2021 and 2022 4 additional A320 NEO will join the fleet, it would also be smart to add 6 CS100 or A220 100 to the fleet, to replace A320 and A319s in the fleet.

A220 100 or 300 are much more fuel efficient than A319 or even A320 NEO, idea aircraft for Croatian airlines.
