NEWS FLASH

Montenegro Airlines' sales office in downtown Podgorica has been robbed. Armed men stole around 1.000 euros in the heist, which took place yesterday. Police have said they suspect a member of staff could be involved and are reviewing CCTV footage from both inside and outside the office. Montenegro Airlines confirmed that the robbery took place but refused to comment further until an investigation is ongoing.

1000€ is nothing...they can sell 3 business class tickets and voilà!
Almsot 2 weeks ago there was another airline staff member thief, who stole a Horizon Air aircraft in Seattle. I think airlines should start treating their staff properly!

Please do explain what do you mean by 'properly'. If by that you mean they should be paid like other staff in the US/UK/Germany, etc, then those same staff should be subject to the same costs of living as their counterparts. Or actually they can lift up their game, do the job properly, and then expect proper treatment. There are 3 staff info this picture I'm sure all 3 are not doing all the sales for the entire airline.

They are receiving very low salaries, while the bosses receive crazy digit salaries. It's all like this everywhere. You give low salaries, the staff will steal, you give normal salaries, you try to motivate and you give nice salaries...the staff will stay. Very easy.

I guess that's it for the airline then.

(Imagine they have insurance to protect against this)
