NEWS FLASH

The Swiss prosecutor's office is preparing to launch a criminal investigation into the collapse of Darwin Airline last December following its takeover by 4K Invest, which owns Adria Airways. The first phase of the probe, which focused on the defunct airline's accounts, uncovered that a number of suspicious transactions were carried out by the new management. This includes a series of payments for various services such as rebranding the company into Adria Airways Switzerland, as well as invoices that Darwin paid to third-party companies that are all linked to the same 4K fund. In total, the value of the payments add up to several million Swiss francs.

On April 24, 2017, 4K Invest purchased a 99.9% stake in Darwin Airline through its subsidiaries Adria Airways, AA International Aviation Holding and Phen X Technologies. Adria Airways received full control over the regional carrier. Darwin Airline declared bankruptcy on December 12, 2017.

This all sounds too irresponsible for LH to really be behind the 4K project.

LH is never behind it more than steering JP through Star Aliance.

First responsible manager to be interrogated is Heinrich Ollendiek followed by Tiziano Ponseggi, the architects of this bankruptcy...

I think this is also the main reason we currently hear so much about Adria - the management is preparing to 'evacuate'. If the pilots go on strike, that will be the last nail in the coffin, plus they will be able to put the blame on labour.
