Eurowings applies new Croatia branding

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Eurowings, which has expanded significantly across Croatia over the past few years, has applied stickers to one of its Airbus A320 aircraft promoting Croatian tourism. The Dusseldorf-based jet will fly across Europe featuring the special markings this winter season advertising both Croatia and Kvarner. The jet landed in Rijeka several days ago and was greeted with a water cannon salute. Eurowings has previously also promoted Croatian tourism with special markings.

Maybe the CRO government paid something for this service out of the zajedničko oglašavanje budget? :)

Sure. Do you think they do this for free? Tourist Board pays and they have more people coming. That's called advertising.

Should do, hope they do. Promoting Zagreb, Split, Varazdin, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar.... Say, €500 000 per year for this campaign could be money well spent. reduces the costs of Eurowings operations in Croatia, Same deal should be done with Emirates, Qatar, Korean air, ... all major carriers that land at Zagreb. There are like 25 carriers, i'd say pay top 12, and you have nice year round promotion for the country, and carriers offset the costs of landings @Zagreb airport.

  3. Does anyone know why EW is cancelling the service from Zagreb to Berlin, as of March 30 2019. This I read on the Zagreb Airport Wikipedia .
