NEWS FLASH

Zadar Airport handled its 600.000th passenger yesterday evening marking the first time it has achieved such a milestone. The traveller arrived on a Croatia Airlines flight from Zagreb. The figure eclipses its record 2017 end-of-year result which stood at 589.841 passengers. "Zadar Airport continues to register growth year after year. Based on current plans for 2019, we expect for this trend not only to continue but for numbers to improve significantly", the General Manager of Zadar Airport, Josip Klišmanić, said. Ryanair, which boasts a seasonal base in Zadar, is expected to add up to eight new routes to the city next summer.

Will FR still have a base or will the 8 new routes be with the summer based plane?
