NEWS FLASH

The Serbian Ministry for Economy has called on interested parties to submit their bids for the purchase of a 99.3% stake in maintenance company Jat Tehnika. The starting price has been set at 20.4 million euros. Interested bidders must be in the maintenance, repair and aircraft overhaul business with revenues of at least forty million euros in 2018. Furthermore, they must be certified to carry out maintenance work on Bombardier and Embraer manufactured aircraft. Jat Tehnika itself is certified for Airbus, ATR and Boeing aircraft. The bidding deadline has been set for July 31. Etihad Airways, El Al Israel Airlines, Israel Aerospace Industries and Singapore Technologies Engineering have all previously expressed interest in the Serbian maintenance company.

Jat Tehnika is the only thing that can bring an Airbus A380 at BEG, provided that Etihad or Singapore buys it.
