NEWS FLASH

Montenegro Airlines handled 262.954 passengers during the first half of 2019, representing an increase of 4.9%. It carried an additional 12.221 travellers compared to the same period last year. In June alone, the company welcomed 77.348 passengers on board its aircraft, up 5%. "The latest figures show that Montenegro Airlines has managed to improve its figures during the second quarter. This will have a positive impact on our income and business results, however, there is still a range of extenuating circumstances, including the high cost of fuel, as well as the extremely expensive overhaul and leasing of Embraer engines. We plan to handle over 660.000 passengers this year", the carrier's CEO, Živko Banjević, said.
