Montenegro Airlines boosts St Petersburg service

Montenegro Airlines will be adding additional flights on its service between Tivat and St Petersburg this September and October. The carrier will introduce an additional weekly flight, each Wednesday, for a total of five weekly services. The new flight will run between September 11 and October 9. Russia is one of Montenegro Airlines' biggest markets. The carrier maintains services to Russia's second largest city on a seasonal summer basis.

    Russia is not only Montenegro Airlines´biggest market, but Russians are by far the biggest tourist group. Looking at Tivat´s timetable you can easiy see that some 70% of the demand is from and to Russia.

    Around 520k passengers traveled from Moscow to Tivat last year so the market between Russia and MNE is huge.
