Pristina continues to grow despite Adria collapse

Pristina Airport recorded solid passenger growth in September despite the demise of Adria Airways in the second half of the month. Adria, which boasted a base in Pristina, was the city’s seventh largest airline in 2018, handling 157.931 passengers. During September, Pristina Airport handled 200.532 travellers, representing an increase of 5.4%. Over the first three quarters of the year, the airport welcomed 1.841.657 passengers through its doors, up 10.6% on the same period in 2018.

    I find it hilarious those small airports with few gates having gates numbered 203, 307, 504...

      If it's like SKP, it's just a reference to the fact that it's a second floor level gate, they probably bus boarding gates called 101, 102 etc. on the lower floor

      That's correct. There are two levels and the first digit of the gate references the level

    Adria collapse should be visible in figures fot OCT not SEP.

    i think Adria collapse will have a minimal impact on PRN.
    Except for the direct Ljubljana route (which most likely will not be covered anytime soon), the rest will be filled by other airlines.

    Good statistics anyways. I expect growth on VIE-PRN Wizz flights commencing in December.

    Great news. I was there last week and I think the Prishtina Airport is really nice. I believe it will continue to grow and become busier.
