NEWS FLASH

The sale of Jat Tehnika to the Czech-owned Avia Prime has been officially approved. The Serbian Ministry for Economy said a 99.4% stake in the maintenance company was purchased for 10.299.907 euros. The only other entity to have purchased the tender documentation during the tender process was Switzerland’s SR Technic, which has a Shared Services Centre in Belgrade, however, it ultimately did not bid for Jat Tehnika. Avia Prime also owns maintenance companies Adria Tehnika in Slovenia and Linetech Holding in Poland. Avia Prime itself was purchased by the Hartenberg Holding fund in November 2017, which was founded by the Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.
