Eurowings ends Cologne - Osijek flights

NEWS FLASH

Eurowings has discontinued flights between Cologne and Osijek which were operated on a seasonal summer basis. Services will not resume during 2020, however, the budget airline will continue to maintain services from Stuttgart to Osijek. Eurowings recently confirmed it would also end flights from Berlin and Dusseldorf to Zagreb at the start of the 2020 summer season in late March.

OSI is such an unfortunate airport, in my opinion it's time to close it as no one can make it work. The government is stupid, they are delaying PSO even after almost all airlines cut flights.

I drove from Osijek north to Hungarian border and literally no one lives there. Probably the most ghostly part of Europe I have ever been to. No wonder these routes can not work, there is no one to fly them.
