NEWS FLASH

Qatar Airways will be hiring cabin crew members in Pristina for the first time. It comes after the carrier’s President and CEO, Akbar Al Baker, held talks with the Ambassador of Kosovo to Qatar late last year. The Doha-based airline will host an open day in Pristina on February 8 at the Swiss Diamond Hotel (Mother Theresa Square) at 08.00 sharp. Those interested must register beforehand. Requirements include a minimum age of 21 years, arm reach of 212 cm on tip toes, high school education with fluency in written and spoken English, as well as excellent health and fitness. Benefits include a tax-free salary, international health insurance, complimentary shared accommodation in Doha, thirty days of annual leave and one free return ticket per year to the staff member's place of origin. Further details, as well as the registration form, can be found here.

Next, PRN-DOH route opening fingers crossed.

And then finally Kosovo-Australia and Kosovo-New Zealand routes with a single stop. That would be very welcome, although PRN-DOH would stand a much better chance of succeeding if connecting flights to UAE and Saudi Arabia were possible via DOH.
