NEWS FLASH

Bosnia and Herzegovina will close its four commercial airports - Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla and Mostar - for commercial flights from March 30 at 06.00 in order to stem the outbreak of the coronavirus Covid-19. As a result, Croatia will become the only country in the former Yugoslavia with commercial air traffic. Slovenia, which is scheduled to reopen Ljubljana Airport on March 30, is likely to extend its closure.

LJU is not closed. It has been open all these days. Freighters are flying normally, there's been a number of repatriation flights, etc.

This would be difficult to achieve with the airport closed, no?

All of the airport closures concern commercial traffic, which has been highlighted in every single article. There are cargo and repatriation/humanitarian flights at almost all capital city airports which have been closed for commercial traffic. This has been reported in the article relating to Ljubljana Airport's closure for commercial flights as well.

What about SKP airport? Wizzair has some scheduled flights from April. Does this mean, the airport will be reopened?

Good move BiH. Should have been closed weeks ago, but better late then never.
