JU is busy flying its citizens back home. Didn't you see JU flying to LAX to take American safely home and then flying back with 6 million gloves? Or how they are flying to China all the time, A320 made several rounds and back. JU is keeping busy these days. Yesterday another A320 arrived with 174/174 passengers from Germany.

Anon 10:35 please don't spread propaganda here. Air Serbia planes are not so busy. I just checked FlightRadar, more then half of fleet didn't have flights recently. Also, Air Serbia planes made 3 round-trips to China in total, 2 with A330 and one with A320, so NO they are not flying to China all the time.

А320 made two rounds, I work for JU so stop spreading fake news just because you have issues with ASL. Also, FR24 is not a reliable source because many flights were not even listed on there since it didn't recognize the route. So you are the one who is spreading propaganda and singling out ASL on here. Fact is that no one is applying becuse they know Wizz is getting these flights like they always do.

What did the tender stipulate, are the flights fully paid by the government? The repatriated will pay nothing, right? Kosovo allowed some flights, but I think passengers paid their tickets and they were sent directly to 14 day compulsory quarantine.

Repatriation flights, organised by Slovenian MFA, are for free. But voluntary donations are welcome, not only from passangers on those flights. https://www.rtvslo.si/slovenija/izganjanje-evropejcev-iz-latinske-amerike-do-jutri-do-polnoci-odidite/518396

Let's be frank, bottom line it's cheaper and makes more sense that someone with crew and planes (though not sure if they stayed) at Skopje gets the flights. Maybe not exactly per tender terms, but come om, how much really is nowadays in our region. Let's be happy the stranded pax will get home well and it hopefully cost them less than a 3 legs flight done by any other non Skopje based airline!

Getting Wizz to do it in SKP is the logical choice in this situation. What is crazy is tender process during crisis.

If SKP wants to project image of transparency, once this crisis is over they should give incentives to carriers other than Wizz and have tender rules in the future that would exclude companies like Wizz. That would be the right thing to do, not this tender in crisis.
