Ryanair to end Frankfurt - Croatia flights

NEWS FLASH

Budget carrier Ryanair will not be resuming its seasonal flights between Frankfurt’s main international airport and the Croatian coast once operations begin returning to normal following the coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. Services from Frankfurt to Zadar, Pula and Rijeka have been discontinued indefinitely. As in previous years, the carrier will continue to serve Pula and Rijeka from Hahn Airport. Ryanair introduced services from Frankfurt am Main Airport to the three Croatian coastal cities in the summer of 2018.

With all the cuts being announced, can we expect Croatia to still have more than 10 million passengers this and next year?

I hope they will, I mean why not? This won't last forever.

    2. And for the millionth time, what do you think that people will travel just like they used to in weeks and months after the restrictions will be lifted?

      2020 is lost everywhere. Period.

I want to try to put a positive spin to this. OU , JU and YM should take note of these cancellations. They should try to develop a timetable to fill some of these cancellations which the foreign carriers are announcing. This is not the time for OU JU and YM to just sit around. They should see this as an opportunity for the future.

If they wa t to do that go ahead. What I am saying is, and I will use it as an example, since Ryanair cancelled the Rijeka to Frankfurt portion ,maybe Croatia Airlines or even Trade Air could introduce the service. Or if you would like to use Montenrgro airlines, have TGD-RJK-FRA and Back as a service.

You can fly on JU as they offer connections from the coast to FRA.

    5. All those suggesting new options for RJK-FRA, just to inform you Condor flies the route as well, and at least for now, it hasn't been cancelled or postponed
