NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines has published its provisional schedule until June 14, which will see the carrier resume operations from Zagreb to Zurich and the domestic Zagreb - Pula - Zadar service from June 8. Flights to Switzerland will run four times per week, while the domestic operations to Pula and Zadar will operate on a daily basis. Speaking today at the Aviation Arena webinar on the recovery of air transport, Slaven Žabo, the head of Croatia Airlines’ Commercial Division, said, “We are gradually adding more flights into the global distribution systems and we are seeing a positive market response. Currently, we are optimising. We are using our lower capacity Dash aircraft even on routes where we usually deploy the Airbus, but we are also adding Airbus aircraft where it is needed on a daily basis. We have that flexibility but even so, at the moment, demand is so low that we are managing to achieve less than 50% load factor”.
