NEWS FLASH

Emirates has delayed the resumption of its seasonal Dubai - Zagreb service by another month. The four weekly flights are now to be reintroduced on August 1. Emirates resumed commercial flights to nine destinations over the past week but is expected to add more routes from July. Entry into the United Arab Emirates is still restricted and transferring through Dubai Airport is banned as a result of the coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, although an exception has been made for passengers from Australia continuing to the United Kingdom who will not leave the aircraft in Dubai.

Dubai is a global megapolis which is home to millions of foreigners. They have a lot of O&D but some destinations like ZAG rely more on transfers.

This shows how bad advance bookings are. Like many said on here: the worst is yet to come.
