Spain’s Iberia will not be resuming its Madrid - Zagreb service until just before the start of the 2020/2021 winter season. The carrier will reinstate the route on October 23 with three weekly flights, each Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. In 2019, Iberia carried 47.703 passengers between the two capital cities. As previously reported, the Spanish airline will resume seasonal flights to Dubrovnik on July 17. Services to Split and Zadar have not been scheduled at this point. Changes remain possible.

This is so unfortunate, loved having them in Zagreb. They were making the airport an extremely exotic location. Hope to have them back.

They could have come back at least twice weekly. Same for SPU.

Iberia making european airport extremely exotic? My friend, Suriname Airways, Royal Brunei, Tahiti Nui, Air Namibia - yes, those carriers would make an european airport exotic location, but Iberia, once again, I don't understand, really
