Adria Airways crockery and airsickness bags on sale

NEWS FLASH

The bankruptcy procedure of Adria Airways is continuing with the receiver putting on sale 415.579 items formerly used by the airline. Following attempts to sell the former flag carrier’s uniforms, brand name and social media accounts, the bankruptcy administrator has now put on sale items including coffee cups, porcelain plates, serving trays, cutlery, napkins, pillows, blankets and 24.000 airsickness bags. Also among the items are 20.000 Darwin Airline headrest covers. Prior to its demise, the Lugano-based Darwin Airline was rebranded into Adria Airways Switzerland. The items have been divided into six groups. The most expensive group of items has been valued at 11.491 euros, while the others vary between 1.400 euros and 4.450 euros. Interested buyers have until July 20 to submit their offers. The bankruptcy administrator is attempting to raise 87.7 million euros in order to pay out approved claims filed against the airline.

This is such a joke. Surely the costs of the proceedings are many times higher than the expected revenues.

LOL. Doesn't the organization of these sales cost more than the potential gains?

They owe dozens of millions and they hope to collect few coins from eventual nostalgic collectors?

But is it possible, for example, to feed customers in a restaurant from dishes with the Adria logo without the rights to this brand?
