NEWS FLASH

Haris Čoloman has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Sarajevo-based FlyBosnia, replacing Tarik Bilalbegović. Mr Čoloman had previously worked at FlyBosnia as an Executive Director but left the company in September of last year. He has also been involved with Bosnia Wand Airlines and Sky Bosnia and has some twenty years of experience in various roles. FlyBosnia recently commenced charter operations from Sarajevo to Antalya in Turkey. The airline plans to resume scheduled flights to Riyadh, Jeddah and Qassim in Saudi Arabia next month, however, this will depend on travel restrictions in the Kingdom.

Since they fly to more destinations in Arabia than their own home country, I would classify this as a Saudi airline with a Bosnian name. Their business plan was and remains bringing Arabs for their summer escape holidays to Bosnian. While links to major European capitols that are a stone's throw away remain wishful thinking. From the point of view of an average Bosnian, unless they are from the group that goes to do the haj, this airline is as useless as it gets.

Air Serbia flies to Norway among other countries. Why are these people only focusing on arabic/Muslim countries?!?!? This airline should be called Air Saudi Arabia, not Air Bosnia...
