NEWS FLASH

Montenegro Airlines handled 8.700 passengers in July, representing a decrease of 90.2% compared to the same period last year. Over the first half of 2020, during which the carrier was grounded for almost three months, it welcomed 65.000 travellers on board its aircraft, down 72.7%. “Through numerous business optimisation measures, we have significantly reduced variable costs, including salaries. Furthermore, the price of jet fuel is lower and we haven’t leased any additional capacity. For now, we have enough funds to meet our due obligations”, Montenegro Airlines’ Chairman of the Board of Directors, Niikola Vukićević, said.

87.000 in July but 65.000 in the half year. Something is wrong. I guess July is 8.700
