Jet2 suspends Croatia operations

Leisure carrier Jet2 has announced it is suspending its operations to Split, Dubrovnik and Pula due to the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement, the airline said, “Flights to Croatia are suspended up to and including October 31, 2020. We are obviously very disappointed to be making this announcement, as we know how much our customers look forward to their well-deserved holidays in these fantastic destinations”. Jet2, which flies seasonally to Croatia, serves Split from Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds, London Stansted and Manchester; Dubrovnik from Belfast, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle; and Pula from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, London Stansted and Manchester.

    It all comes down to consistent and rational governmental travel policies, plus a successful vaccine and / or people learning how to live safely with the virus. Sadly this summer has shown in so many countries across that people seem incapable of doing the latter, whilst some governments have pursued unintelligent policies.

    Subject to the above, no reason why fabulous countries such as HR shouldn't bounce back as people are more than ever hungry for travel / holidays.
