PHOTOS: New Ljubljana terminal takes shape

NEWS FLASH


Work on Ljubljana Airport’s new passenger terminal is continuing to advance with the facility on course to open during the summer of next year. The terminal will stretch over 10.000 square metres and features a new departures hall with 22 check-in counters, five security lanes and three baggage carousels. Testing of the new terminal and its equipment is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2021.

    Amazing! The works have definitely advanced! What on earth are a couple of South African A320s doing in LJU? Cargo Air is a Bulgarian company. Do they operate flights from LJU?

    We've been waiting long time for this one...The old one, at least part of it is really outdated and was way to small for normal operations for the last couple of years...

      22 check-in counters ?

      When all will need to be in use at the same time because of heavy traffic?
      For sure not in the following 4-5 years ... maybe never.
