NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Ryanair will commence seasonal flights between Naples and Zadar this coming summer season. Flights will operate twice per week starting June 4, each Monday and Friday. The carrier intended on opening a seasonal base in the coastal city last year but shelved those plans due to the coronavirus pandemic. This coming summer, Ryanair will serve Zadar from Vienna, Charleroi, Prague, Marseille, Beauvais, Berlin, Cologne, Weeze, Baden Baden, Memmingen, Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw and Gothenburg. Overall, Ryanair will be Zadar’s largest airline this summer, operating 1.922 flights (both directions included) and offering 353.492 seats, or 48.9% of the airport’s total summer capacity. Further flight details for the new Naples - Zadar service can be found here.

    Odd route it seems.

    Who is the target group?
Southern Italiens flying to colder ZAD for Mediterranean, coastal holidays?
Croatians who sadly don't travel abroad that much without their car to the by far ugliest city in Italy?
