Airports of Montenegro CEO resigns after seventeen days

The newly appointed CEO of operator Airports of Montenegro and its first female head, Ana Lončarević, has resigned after just seventeen days at the top job. Ms Lončarević handed in her resignation this week, citing insurmountable differences with authorities over the way in which the company should be organised and operated. Ms Lončarević was chosen as acting CEO as a nonpartisan professional, who has been with the company for over eight years. Airports of Montenegro runs both Podgorica and Tivat airports.

Non-political person was probably shocked when figuring out how things work in a politically run entity. No wonder she escaped.
