TUI to launch Amsterdam - Pristina service

NEWS FLASH


Leisure carrier TUI fly Belgium will commence flights between Amsterdam and Pristina next month. The carrier will operate the service with the routing Amsterdam - Tirana - Pristina - Amsterdam, without sales rights on the Tirana - Pristina sector. Flights will commence on May 15 and run each Tuesday and Saturday, with the Boeing 737-family aircraft. Further flight details can be found here.

    What's the reason they are not allowed to sell tickets between TIA and PRN? Haven't they requested or they didn't get the permission?

    They didn't request it and it's unlikely an EU carrier would get rights between two non EU places.

    Tirana - Priština

    By car it tales around 3h 30min and by bus it's 4h - 4h 30 min..
    City centers to airports is close to 30 min (traffic), add check in time another 45 min (or more), plus flight time: so you get just 1h or 2 h.
    I doubt it's of any significant practical utility.
