Turkish Airlines has scheduled its 289-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft on select flights between Istanbul and Belgrade throughout May. The carrier plans to deploy the wide-body jet on the route’s morning service on May 5, May 12, May 19 and May 26. Turkish Airlines’ A330-300 features 28 seats in business class and the remaining 261 in economy. Overall, Turkish Airlines plans to operate up to eleven weekly rotations to the Serbian capital in May, with the carrier putting 15.742 seats on sale between the two cities. Based on its existing schedule, 51.1% of services will be maintained by the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, 40% by the Airbus A321 and 8.9% by the A330-300 jet.
This should become the norm for them. They are always full out of BEG.
ReplyDeleteSo every wednesday the A333 will operate the route. JU has JFK on that day so BEG will have two widebodies that day. Widebody flights in May will be 1x TK, 3x JU and 2x SU.

DeleteOr maybe they applied for Bodrum and Antalya so that the directorate has to give them the widebody permission. Also IST-BEG was always TK's playground so I doubt they will block them.
Delete"Ko ume njemu dve" ... I am not sure how come JU can't fill a 319 daily on a regular basis (often they are sending the ATR) while TK and even SU can fill in widebodies!?!
DeleteJU does send widebodies to SVO just as charters. IST is more challenging because there is more competition, there is also Pegasus.
