NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Wizz Air has delayed the launch of several new routes from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital ahead its base opening in Sarajevo. Services to Charleroi, Beauvais and London Luton, which were to commence in May, have now been postponed until mid-June. As a result, services to Charleroi and Luton will now be inaugurated on June 14, while flights to Beauvais will start on June 15. All other routes from Sarajevo, which include Copenhagen, Basel, Dortmund, Memmingen, Eindhoven, and Gothenburg, remain unaffected.

I wonder how Tuzla will affect Wizz Airs Sarajevo bookings, as both bases cannibalize each other very much ...

They both can coexist but just if frequencies get minimized .

Yeah, they should just be totally inflexible and not adapt their schedule according to demand and travel restrictions.

      What's the logic here?

Yeah, they should keep scheduling flights in dates they know damn well won't happen. This has been going on for more than 1 year now, not the first time and seems that it won't be the last.

Is WizzAir coming to Zagreb ? I heard they want to establish a base in Zagreb now that Ryan Air has set up a base in Zagreb, from what I heard Ryan Air plans 40 destinations out of Zagreb, that is just mad, but then I saw Krakow had 67 Ryan Air Destinations, I was gobsmacked. I am surprised by the fact that Ryan Air managed to get slots at Vienna and Frankfurt airports, they're expanding really fast. So question remains, does Wizz air plan to open base in Zagreb?

I highly doubt it. Wizz was always interested in Zagreb market but looks like it missed the single chance and opted for weaker markets while its main competitor used this opportunity very wisely. Losing one of the biggest cities in the region to your competitor must have hurt.

Pametno, jer do Juna će se vakcinisati još mnogo ljudi, a broj zaraženih u Bosni i Hercegovini se smanjuje, što otvara put turizmu

Saying all in again (betting on re-opening this summer) is backfiring again at Wizz.
