NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia has launched its third new destination during the coronavirus pandemic by inaugurating operations between Belgrade and Rostov-on-Don, its fourth point in Russia. “We are pleased that, despite the current circumstances, we are further expanding our network of destinations and strengthening our presence in Russia, which is a strategically extremely important market for us. We are glad that by improving our offer, we are contributing to the strengthening of commercial and tourist activity between our two countries. This is evidenced by the high demand and good load factor of flights to Rostov-on-Don in the coming period”, Jiri Marek, Air Serbia’ General Manager for Commercial and Strategy said. The Executive Director of Rostov Airport, Alexander Serov, noted, “We are always glad to see new airlines at Platov Airport. We hope for long and mutually beneficial cooperation with Air Serbia. The new route from Rostov-on-Don to Belgrade is very important, since it activates further development of international and domestic flights. Belgrade is a major transport centre in Europe while Platov Airport has a well-developed network of direct flights to various Russian regions. These factors open up prospects for the growth of Rostov Airport as a transfer hub”. The inaugural service from Rostov to Belgrade saw over 130 passengers, most of which were transferring to other destinations via the Serbian capital.
Sjajan LF za prvi let.Ako su rezervacije zaista tako dobre kako kaže Marek,možemo očekivati i treći let od avgusta.
ReplyDeleteНе док Русија не дозволи више од два лета недељно.
DeleteWhich one are the other three points in Russia? Moscow, St. Pete and?
ReplyDeleteKrasnodar
DeleteHopefully they add more. Serbia should become the main transfer point between Russia and Europe.
DeleteBetween Russia and Europe? All major and minor European airlines fly to Russia, no need to transfer via Serbia. Between Ex-Yu& Russia maybe.
DeleteInteresting then how JU has a lot of transfers from Russia to Greece, Cyprus and in 2019 they had a lot to Nice as well.
Delete"All major and minor European airlines fly to Russia"
DeleteDo they fly only Moscow and Petersburg, or other cities?
Rip off pricing as usual with Air Serbia, look at the prices - minumum 200 euros without baggage. No thanks.
