Qatar Airways deploys A350 to Belgrade

NEWS FLASH

Qatar Airways is today operating its service between Doha and Belgrade with a 283-seat Airbus A350-900 aircraft due to strong demand. It boasts 36 seats in business class and the remaining 247 in the economy cabin. Although the jet is being used as a one-off instead of the Airbus A320 aircraft, the carrier has seen an increase in demand on its Belgrade route over the past month, particularly on the outbound service from Doha. Today's flight from the Qatari capital is operating with an almost full load of passengers. It also marks the first scheduled arrival of the A350-900 to Belgrade. Previously, the airport handled a Thai Airways diversion and a Lufthansa charter.

By far the best airline I've flown yet in either Business or Economy. Would be fantastic to see them in BEG with widebodies more often.

No it isn't. The departure was scheduled 3 hours later than usual several days ago, as visible on BEG airport website and DOH airport website.

Anyone know where all this demand is coming from?

If QR does well then maybe that's why EY is thinking of coming back.

    1. EY has reduced fleet and routes. They are only considering Belgrade now that other destinations are not seeing demand.
