NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier easyJet has shelved plans to launch a new service between London Luton Airport and Ljubljana for a second year in a row. Initially planned to commence in 2020, flights were pushed back until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and have now been delayed until 2022. The service will now be inaugurated on March 27 of next year and is planned to run on a daily basis. Further details can be viewed here.

The policy has just been reverted but the damage has already been done. Really one of the stupidest decisions ever....

  2. The newest Dark Red rules are contradictory in both English and Slovenian. I had to call the Police help desk to find out categorically that I can enter Slovenia from the UK without quarantine currently. I'm not sure we will even see easyJet Gatwick restarting in August as currently planned, but I'm hopeful now the UK rules relax (for UK citizens) on 19th July that BA presses ahead with their early August resumption. Late night flights into Zagreb and border crossings are no fun :-(

I doubt easyjet will come back this year. I hope they will even come back and will not just cancel everything.
