Rijeka Airport sees signs of recovery

NEWS FLASH

Following a slow June, Rijeka Airport is staging a recovery with nine international routes to be maintained this month. Lufthansa has restored its seasonal flights from both Frankfurt and Munch, while Eurowings has resumed operations from Dusseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne. The low cost airline will bring back its Stuttgart flights on July 31. LOT Polish Airlines introduced three new routes to the Croatian city over the weekend, from Szczecin, Olsztyn and Zielona Gora, complementing its existing Warsaw service. “We hope for all traffic currently planned for the summer to operate and that the favourable epidemiological situation will keep air traffic moving at least until the end of the summer season”, Rijeka Airport, said.

    1. Don't know about Poland but BT from RIX today was about 50 %. Not that good. Even worse, plane was A220, less capacity than 737 that flew precovid, which was usually full up to the last seat
