Air Montenegro to launch Lyon service

Air Montenegro will introduce a new limited seasonal summer service between Podgorica and Lyon. Flights between the two cities will launch on September 18 and run until October 2 with the Embraer E195 jet. The service will be maintained once per week, each Saturday. Air Montenegro’s predecessor, Montenegro Airlines, previously served Lyon on a seasonal basis from 2015 until its demise in 2020. The route becomes the only nonstop service between Podgorica and France. Tickets for the Lyon flights are now available for purchase through the carrier’s website. Further flight details can be found here.

Are they joking, just 3 flights. Similar with Air Serbia KVO-SKG flights.

Who is flying on this route? is it to gain access to GVA catchment area or there is a somewhat large Montenegrin diaspora over there?
