NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia is further growing its frequencies amid an uptick in demand, with flights from Belgrade to Ljubljana to run nine times per week and to Vienna ten times per week. The airline will launch its new Ljubljana frequencies as of next week with services to be maintained twice per day on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, with the remaining rotations operational on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The airline was to initially increase operations to the Slovenian capital from six to eight per week during the course of the month. Operations to Vienna will also be boosted as of next week, with flights operating twice per day on Fridays and Saturdays with the rest running throughout the week. Flights to both destinations are being maintained with the ATR72 turboprop aircraft.
Interesting that they are doing so well in LJU. Are others doing well as well?
ReplyDeleteCheck LJU numbers and you will see how great the situation is.
DeleteYeah but maybe it finally started to improve.
DeleteJU isn't going to increase flights if they are going to perform badly.
If even the current airlines serving LJU with minimal competition wouldn't do well, then yeah, not much could be said.
Delete3 or 4 weeks ago I flu on TK from IST to LJU. Sunday evening and not more than 40% seats were occupied.
DeleteI can tell you the exact numbers of all Sunday flights this year and that's why I'm calling you now full of BS. Oh, and by the way, it's flew, not flu.
DeleteAnd I flew ZAG - IST on TK 30.07. It was A321, only few seats empty in business, economy full up to the last seat. And two days ago they had 777 planned for ZAG morning rotation. Nothing to do with JU, but sorry to see LJU doing so badly with even ZAG improving numbers and results
DeleteSloavio has never said anything good about Slovenian aviation and is clearly agains LJU. I know LJU is in a bad position right now, but the planes are definitely not as empty as he says. The thing is that LJU has hit almost 2 milion passengers when there was Adria, and from what I know, almost NO ONE wanted to fly with Adria, because of the prices. With more LCCs the numver of that time would be even much higher. LJU has a potential with the right airlines. At one time, there were flights to 4 London airports with full planes. So please, have your dreams about ZAG, I also fly from both ZAG and LJU, but believe me, these both airports have a (proven) potential.
DeleteSloair is talking like he/she is on the plane every day, but it occurs to me that his last flight was probably on the Adrias' 737 :)
DeleteAlmost all flights to LJU are 70%+, and let's say Air France is introducing second daily flights, Transavia with ORY, Aeroflot with daily rotations, Transavia adding 4th weekly flight to AMS, LH with e90s/319s over the weekends (yes, they have 3 daily flights) etc. It's not great, but given the circumstances, it's still decent.
Sloavio is full of bs. I flew IST-LJU with tk a321 last week and it was around 90% full…@sloavio maybe stop the bs and hate towards lju…of course the situation is not brilliant, in fact its far from it (LJU has a lot of potential and was about to recover after adria but then covid came and mde thinks worse times ten) but constant hate and you talking how bad it is and that there is no passanges makes me start to think you’re some nine year old spaming hate comments every day…grow up and stop the lies
Deletetypo *made things worse times ten.. and i fully agree with anonymous 17:15
DeleteHow many pax were on the flight on 18.7.2021? From IST to LJU? Please, chill. Flight was more than half empty.
DeleteOne flight out of how many? If TK is doing so badly in LJU why did they add 2 additional weekly flights on middle of July? What a troll..
DeleteLast week I flew on Wizz, LJU to CRL and the load was over 90%. I think the August numbers will be a positive surprise.
DeleteMaybe they added extra LJU flights because of cargo.
DeleteJust because of cargo? So they are flying a321 full of cargo and with zero passengers? Oh please..
DeleteIm still waiting for those numbers? It was a319 it i remember well. Huge capacity.
DeleteNot zero passengers but around 40% to 50%.
DeleteIf every aircraft is full. How come that LJU only handled 70000 PAX last year ?
Deletearound 40%??? and what did I say??? And now you say there were AROUND 40-50%, just few lines above you claimed that you know EXACT numbers. And then you call me names?
DeleteThere were 101 pax on board TK1064 on 18.7. To have "around" 40% LF plane would need 250 seats. Now please, stop your BS.
DeleteAlso, only 1 comment (the first one, when I claim I know exact numbers) is mine.
DeleteOK. Tu imaš fotko konkretnega leta. Pa oceni, kakšna je bila zasedenost.

Oh my God its one damn flight. If flights are always that empty they would not even be flying to LJU. Stop crying Sloavio. Some of you are really acting like little kids.
DeleteI wonder what the passenger structure is from LJU.
