Pristina Airport’s traffic exceeds pre-pandemic levels

Pristina Airport handled 340.446 passengers in July, overtaking its previous best result for the month set in the pre-pandemic 2019. That year, the airport registered 280.013 travellers, while the figure stood at 88.607 passengers in 2020. During July, most capacity was offered from Pristina to Zurich, followed by Vienna, Geneva, Dusseldorf and Istanbul Sabiha Gocken Airport. August has also started off on a strong note for the airport, with a record 104.256 passengers handled during the first week of the month. Over the January - July period, Pristina Airport welcomed 1.056.370 travellers through its doors.

    Congrats. Hope other will follow suit. I think Kosovo needs a Terminal double its current size to handle its growth.

    and what about Basel ? i think Basel was the first destination ..yesterday 19 flights from Pristina to Basel..
